PSALMS 128-130
The true believer is always pursuing and constantly processing the person, purposes, and promises of God on the way to maturity in Christ. As we continue in this collection in the Psalms (120-134), we see that through obedience to the Word, we are able to define and conquer the fear and anxiety that so often hinders us. The next blog will complete our journey and consider Psalms 131 to 134.
PSALM 128 The way of discipleship is not a reduction, but an expansion of the reason we have been created. There is no closure, only aperture to your capacities. There is clarity and coherence in the rhythms of life. The difficult way is living without God.

PSALM 129 True and real faith is robust and healthy. The people of God are tough. They outlast oppression and oppressors. Perseverance is not resignation. Endurance is moving from strength to strength bolstered by God’s faithfulness to us.
